Josh began playing soccer at the age of 4. He played for 4 years at Eisenhower High School, where he was the team captain and earned All State Honors as a senior. He was able to continue his soccer playing career at Oakland University, where he started and played every game as a freshman. It was at Oakland where he was able to grow as a leader, giving him the tools to become a coach.

Josh began coaching Junior Varsity as Eisenhower in 2001, and took over as the Varsity coach in 2006 and coached them for 16 years. At the helm of the Varsity, he led Eisenhower to 8 MAC Red championships, 10 district titles, and 1 Regional title, including over 200 career wins at the Varsity level. Several of his high school players went on to play at the college level all over the country.

Josh also has experience coaching high school girls soccer as the Junior Varsity coach at Eisenhower and the Varsity coach at Stevenson High School. He has also coached travel soccer for more than 10 years at

Nationals and Michigan Stars.
